Biarritz Airport Transfers

Biarritz Pays Basque Airport (BIQ) is a small, single-terminal airport between Biarritz, Anglet and Bayonne, just a few minutes from the ocean. Live arrivals are on the airport's official website. It is easy to get through, and with a little planning your transfer to the hotel is the simplest part of the trip. Here is everything I tell my passengers before they land.

How your driver meets you

   Your flight is tracked. Your driver follows your flight in real time. If you land early or late, your driver adjusts, and waiting time is included.

   Collect your luggage. Arrivals and baggage claim are on the ground floor; it rarely takes long.

   Meet your driver in the arrivals hall. Your driver waits for you as you come out. A welcome sign with your name is available on request.

   Straight to the car. The car is parked a short walk from the terminal, and your driver helps with the luggage.

Leaving Biarritz

The same service works in the other direction: your driver picks you up at your hotel and drops you at the terminal for your departure. For a morning flight, plan to arrive at the airport about two hours before take-off in summer.
