About Pamplona

Pamplona, or Iruña, is the capital of Navarre and the city of the running of the bulls during San Fermín, from 6 to 14 July. Outside the festival it is a walled city of quiet squares, with the Plaza del Castillo at its centre, a Gothic cathedral, a citadel turned park and the pintxos bars of the Calle Estafeta. The Camino de Santiago passes through on its way from Roncesvalles.

The transfer from the airport uses the A63, the AP-8 to San Sebastián and the AP-15 through the mountains, about 100 minutes with the tolls included.
