About Labenne
Labenne has a village centre on the old main road, a zoo in the pines, and, four kilometres west through the forest, Labenne-Océan: a wide surf beach with a lifeguard post, a handful of restaurants and some of the largest campsites on the coast. It is the family end of the Landes shore, quieter than Hossegor and cheaper than Biarritz, with cycle paths through the forest to Capbreton.
