About Bidart
Just south of Biarritz, Bidart is a village of white houses on a clifftop plateau with a beach at the bottom of every path down. Its coastline is the most varied on the coast, from the sheltered cove of Ilbarritz to the wide sands of the Uhabia, and a coastal footpath links them all the way to Guéthary. The centre has a square, a church, a fronton where pelota is played on summer evenings, and restaurants that fill up with people from Biarritz.
From Biarritz station the car reaches Bidart in about 25 minutes on the D810 or the motorway. Drop-offs at the hotels of the cliff, the residences above the beaches, the campsites and the village centre are all at the fixed €35.
