San Sebastián Airport is about 45 minutes from Biarritz station by private transfer, ideal when a TGV and a Spanish flight fall on the same day. Book online.
The airport of the Gipuzkoa capital is not in San Sebastián at all but in Hondarribia, on the estuary that marks the French–Spanish border. It handles domestic Spanish routes above all, Madrid and Barcelona several times a day, with summer flights to the islands and a few European destinations. Everything is on one level, security is quick and there is no long walk to the gate, so the timing that matters is the road transfer, not the terminal.
From Biarritz station the car takes the A63 south past Saint-Jean-de-Luz and Hendaye, crosses at Biriatou and follows the N-638 to the terminal, about 45 minutes in all. For arrivals the process is mirrored: the inbound flight is tracked, the pickup waits in the arrivals hall, and the drive back to Biarritz station for your TGV, or to your hotel anywhere on the coast, follows straight away.
