About Capbreton
Capbreton is the only harbour on the Landes coast, a fishing port and marina at the mouth of the Boudigau canal where the trawlers unload beside the pleasure boats and the fish stalls open on the quay each morning. Off the beach lies the Gouf, a submarine canyon that begins a few hundred metres from the shore and gives the town its deep-water swell and its whale-watching trips.
