About San Sebastián

San Sebastián, or Donostia in Basque, sits 47.1 km south-west of Biarritz Airport on the far side of the Spanish border. The city is famous for La Concha, the crescent-shaped bay considered one of the finest urban beaches in Europe, and for the highest concentration of Michelin stars per inhabitant in the world. The Parte Vieja, its old quarter squeezed between the harbour and Monte Urgull, is where the evening pintxos crawl begins.

The route from the airport follows the A63 past Saint-Jean-de-Luz, crosses at Biriatou and joins the AP-8 towards Donostia. Tolls are included in the fare.
