About Urrugne

Urrugne spreads from the cliffs of the Corniche basque to the slopes of La Rhune, with a village centre around a fortified church and, on its edge, the Château d’Urtubie, a castle that has been in the same family since the fourteenth century and receives guests. The Col d’Ibardin, on the Spanish border above the village, is lined with the ventas where the coast goes shopping, and the coast path below Socoa belongs to the commune too.
