Data collected
When you book: first and last name, WhatsApp number, pickup and drop-off addresses, date and time, number of passengers and extras. Also, when you provide them, the flight number, a comment, the billing email address and the name of the person booking on someone else's behalf. When you request a quote: the same contact and trip details, without a booking. When you simply browse: anonymous visit statistics.
How we use your data
Your data is used to carry out the booking and the ride, to issue invoices (a legal obligation), and to produce statistics that help improve the service. It is never sold, rented, or used for advertising.
Data retention
Invoices: 10 years. Bookings, the spreadsheet and the calendar: a similar period. Quote requests without a booking: 3 years. Visit statistics: 25 months. The technical error log, which may contain a session identifier, is kept for 90 days. On request, all of your data is deleted, except invoices, which the law requires us to keep for 10 years.
Browsing data
The site measures traffic anonymously (page views, display performance). Your name and phone number are kept in your browser until the end of the day so you don't have to type them again. The trip you entered (places, date, time, options) is kept in your browser for one hour, so you don't have to type it again from one tab to the next, and it is deleted as soon as your request is sent. Cookies: three kinds of cookies, all necessary for the site to work — your chosen language; test mode (13 months), set only if you open a test link the owner gives to a few people, and renewed each time it is opened; and the back-office and technical-testing cookies, used only by the owner. No advertising cookies, no third-party tracking cookies. To know whether visitors come back, a random identifier belonging to this site alone is kept in your browser: it is created on your first visit, never renewed afterwards, replaced after 13 months at most, and the audience data is deleted after 25 months. It is never matched with your name, your phone number or a booking, it is only used for totals (share of returning visitors, average number of visits before a price request) and it is never passed to anyone. You can refuse to be counted below.
Third-party services
Google (Places: the addresses you type are used to offer suggestions, in the site's language); Vercel (hosting, visit and performance statistics, storage of transport orders and invoices as PDFs); Neon (database hosted in Frankfurt, Germany); Telegram (notifying the driver of your booking); WhatsApp (Meta) (exchanging messages with you about the ride); Google Workspace (Sheets and Calendar); OSRM (route calculation). Only the owner has access to this data. Google, Vercel, Telegram and WhatsApp may process data outside the European Union, under the safeguards these providers put in place (such as the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or standard contractual clauses).
Your rights
In accordance with the GDPR and the French Data Protection Act, you have the right to access, rectify, delete, restrict or port your data, and to object to its processing. Write to contact@anthonybiarritz.com. You may also lodge a complaint with the CNIL.
